Patti, now retired, was a tenured faculty member at two California community colleges: Grossmont College in East San Diego County and the College of Alameda in the San Francisco East Bay area. She developed, launched and managed several grant mechanisms as part of AACRs donor-directed research grants programs and provided oversight for the application and scientific review process and science management.
